FAQ
How painful is it?
Tattoos do hurt - no way around that. But your mindset, rest, food, and hydration all help make the experience more manageable. Come in well-prepared and we’ll get through it together.
Can I use numbing cream?
If you’re thinking about using numbing cream, please let me know in advance. Some products can make the skin rubbery or affect how the tattoo heals. If it’s the right type and applied correctly, I’ll work with you to make sure it’s done properly.
How do I book an appointment?
All the info you need is on my Contact Page. Once I’ve got your ideas, I’ll guide you through the process from there.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes. I require a €100 deposit to secure your booking. This is usually done during or after our free consultation. Deposits are cash only at the studio - if you’re coming from far away, I’ll send you my banking details.
- ou can reschedule twice using the same deposit.
- On the third change, a new deposit will be required.
- Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
What’s your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 72 hours’ notice. Cancellations within 72 hours will result in a lost deposit. I understand that life happens - just keep me in the loop and we’ll work something out.
Are walk-ins allowed?
I love doing walk-ins when I can. But if you're after something more complex or large-scale, it's always best to book a consultation so we can plan things out properly.
When will I see my design?
I finalize your design the morning of your appointment. This allows me to stay focused and present with your idea. If any changes are needed, we’ll go over them together in the studio - much easier than endless back-and-forth messaging that can lead to miscommunication.
What if I change my mind about the design?
If you’ve had a change of heart or want to adjust your idea, let me know as soon as possible. I’m happy to adapt if there’s enough time, but changing the design on the day rarely works out well - and I want you to leave with something you're truly excited about.
How much will my tattoo cost?
Pricing depends on the size, placement, and level of detail. Once I have a good idea of what you're after, I can give you an estimate. Large-scale projects are priced session by session, with the full scope in mind.
How long will it take?
That depends on a few factors - the design, its placement, your skin type, and how well you sit. Everyone’s different.
For larger pieces, expect somewhere between 7 and 12+ sessions, usually spaced over 6 months to a year or more. Make sure you're ready to commit your time, energy, and finances before diving into a big project.
Do you do cover-ups?
Yes, I do cover-ups, but they depend on the size, density, and age of the existing tattoo, and how open you are to flexibility with the new design. We'll need to meet in person so I can see what I’m working with. Just keep in mind the new piece will need to be significantly larger, and in some cases, you may still see subtle traces of the old tattoo beneath.
What style of tattooing do you specialize in?
I work across many styles, but my main focus is on traditional, Japanese, and Tarot-inspired tattooing. If you're into strong symbolism, clean lines, or timeless designs rooted in tradition, chances are we’ll get along well.
Do you offer tarot-based tattoos?
Yes, I offer highly individualized tarot tattoos, created through a collaborative process that connects your personal journey with deep archetypal symbolism. These pieces are intuitive, meaningful, and designed to resonate beyond the surface.
You can learn more about the process here.
Do you use vegan ink?
Yes, I use vegan inks with organic pigments, and all of the soaps and ointments I work with are vegan-friendly as well.
Can I bring someone with me?
Due to limited studio space, I kindly ask that you come alone to your appointment. A friend is welcome to drop you off or pick you up, but they won’t be able to stay during the session.
How do I keep my tattoo from fading?
All tattoos age over time, but with proper care, yours can stay vibrant for years. Here's how:
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning — always use SPF 50+ if your tattoo is out in the sun.
- Moisturize daily — especially during the healing process, but ideally as part of your regular routine.
Skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare all play a role in how your tattoo holds up.
